Independent design advice · Australia-wide

A retail designer’s eye on your home.

Twenty years designing spaces that work hard every day: for flow, for durability, and for how people feel when they walk in. Now that thinking goes into your renovation and your short-stay property.

Reno Review

You have the drawings and two or three quotes. Before you sign, get an independent second opinion on the price, the builder and, most of all, the design.

  • Are the quotes fair, and do they actually compare?
  • Is the builder licensed, insured and reputable?
  • Where will the layout let you down, and how do you fix it?
  • Fit and finish choices that last, at the right price.

Airbnb & short stay

Get more from your short-stay property. We show you exactly where to spend, whether that’s $500, $2,000 or a $15–20k refresh, to lift your rate, reviews and bookings.

  • Staging and styling that photographs beautifully.
  • The essentials and welcoming touches guests notice.
  • A neutral or bold palette that stands out in search.
  • Better photos, a sharper title and a listing that converts.

Why a retail designer?

Shops are designed to earn their keep. Your home should too.

Commercial interiors are planned to the centimetre, built to take punishment and judged on results. That’s a different discipline from a builder’s standard spec or a showroom’s upsell, and it’s exactly what a renovation or a short-stay property needs.

01

Flow

A shop lives or dies on how people move through it. So does a kitchen at 7am, and a bathroom two people share.

02

Durability

Retail fit-outs take a beating every day. We specify finishes that look good in year five, not just at handover.

03

Light

Lighting sells. Layered, warm and well-placed light changes how a room feels and how it photographs.

04

First impressions

Shoppers decide in seconds, and so do guests scrolling a listing. We design for that moment.

“No builder on the payroll, no supplier kickbacks. Just an honest, expert opinion working for you.”
